Here are the basics

1. No OOC drama. IC drama, however, is encouraged. That is a big rule because everyone should be treated with respect. If you feel harassed then please let me(the admin), or a moderator know.

Ex: Someone keeps harrassing someone in ooc. Another ooc drama is when everyone keeps talking about something and going off topic in the roleplay. I need to read the stories in order to write but I can’t do so if I see all this damn ooc talk.

2. We’re an alternate universe, which means we don’t follow the show exactly. Don’t completely diverge from canon, but you have a lot of freedom from it. (ex: you cannot make Fiona bi or suddently, because that goes out of her canon, but you can make her become an alcoholic again, Clare cannot go out drinking and sleeping with a bunch of guys) It can only happen if something along the AU storyline allows characters to go through a personality change. Example: Owen learning from his mistakes with Anya to trying to become a good guy even though people will always see him as a jerk.

3. This goes along with rule 2; the relationships are from the show (KC/Jenna, Drew/Bianca, Dave/Sadie). but they can break up and be paired with others, for example KC and Clare can become a couple possibly in this roleplay. I do recommend crackships! It creates much more storylines!

4. You can be absolutely any character that has appeared on the show as long as they are not taken.

5. This is a paragraph roleplay, which means no -action-/*action*. You have to type it all out, like a story. It’s a paragraph describing what you’re character is doing. Pretty self explanatory.

Note: What I’m about to show you are real examples of bad roleplaying styles. These actually come from rps I was in.

ex: 1) Susie walks into the lunch room. *grabs food* *smiles* yum brocolli chicken chinese
2) He looks at her and smiles. ” I had a great time with you mam.” Grabs soda and sips. “We should do this again.”
3) DESU DESU KAWAII NO BAKA! *hits head* BAKA BAKA BAKA *slaps him*

6. In your tumblr description, please put “Degrassi: Breathe Into Me” somewhere.

7. To join, just ask in the ask box. Give me a read the rules in your description so I know you read the rules.

8. You can reserve a character for a friend to join, you can also request one. When requested you have about a month to be active (3 weeks if the roleplay is constantly active), if you are not active by the deadline, someone else is allowed to take your place.
Note: I haven’t inforced this rule because you guys come back. If its someone who only has been on once and doesn’t explain themselves I am removing them. This rule is now inforced.

9. You are allowed to roleplay up to two characters, I say two because having more can be a hassle. (you can do more but beware it becomes a hassle.)

10. Please at least be on here at least 3 times a week, if you can’t please let me know the reason why (ie: surgery, medical, school, etc)

11. Interested in having an OC, the OC must be approved before roleplaying. I will be strict when taking OCs in, because they must have interesting storylines. Also lets say you are roleplaying a character (ex: Drew) and you want an OC to be in the rp, your chances of having your OC accepted is easier than someone who is only roleplaying with an OC. (OCs are currently closed unless its a temp that is needed for a small part of your storyline, this is for ROELPLAYERS ONLY)

12. Please roleplay with everyone, don’t limit yourself to a certain number of people.

13. Some people asked me what rating is this RP. I say it is PG-13 but since some of you like to roleplay lemon(sex) if you do both partners must agree and it must be roleplayed through ask box or with the read more option. I do not want to read dirty shit on my dash XD.

DO NOT POWER MOD OR GOD MOD!

God modding is where you know everything that is going on. No matter what. For example lets say someone is planning to blow up your house. You magically know and leave. The realistic thing to do is to hear the explosion and see the fire before escaping.

Power modding is where no matter what I cannot destroy you. If I stab you in the heart THAT MEANS YOU’RE SLOWLY DYING. If I see this rule BROKEN I AM TAKING ACTION. I hate power modders.

Please erase the jail cells. Do NOT go over the white area. I want to have a clean dash so I can read everything.

If you want to start a specific storyline please ooc message them in private. Thats how you can be able to expand more ideas and thoughts.
